Text Message Alerts

This page describes the text message (SMS) program of Ciprios Data Brokerage, operated by Ciprios, a sole proprietorship in Houston, Texas. Questions: support@ciprios.com or 346.600.9562.

What we send

Account notices only, never marketing. The program is for business users who have a Ciprios account through their company. Messages include notices that new data is available from a publisher you subscribe to, confirmations that your upload was validated, and alerts to Ciprios staff about new files waiting for review.

How to opt in

Texting is turned on only by the account holder, from their own Profile page. Signing in requires a Ciprios account (email, password and a code from an authenticator app).

  1. Sign in at ciprios.com/login.
  2. Open Profile (the round initials button at the top right).
  3. Under Personal Information, enter your Cell phone number.
  4. Under Communication Preferences, in Send messages via, choose Text only or Both email and text.
  5. Read the consent text shown directly beneath it, then press Save preference.

The default for every account is Email only: nobody is opted in to texts by default. After you opt in, we send one confirmation text.

Messages you may receive

The confirmation text, sent once when you opt in:

Ciprios Data Brokerage: You're now set to receive account text alerts, such as new data availability. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms: ciprios.com/legal

Examples of account alerts:

  • Ciprios: new data from Acme Tool Company. Log in to view.
  • Ciprios: your upload validated; 3 subscribers notified.
  • Ciprios: new file from Acme Tool Company awaiting review.

Message frequency varies with your account activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and help

  • Stop: reply STOP to any message (also STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT), or set Send messages via to Email only on your Profile page. You may receive one final message confirming the opt-out.
  • Help: reply HELP to any message, or contact support@ciprios.com / 346.600.9562.
  • Resume: choose Text or Both on your Profile page again, then reply START if you had replied STOP. START on its own doesn't turn texts back on.

Your privacy
