This page contains the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions ("Terms") for Ciprios Data Brokerage (the "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Ciprios, a Texas sole proprietorship located at 8127 Glencrest St, Houston, TX 77061. By creating an account, registering an entity, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to both sections below.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated by your use of the Service:

  • Account information: name, email address, work and cell phone numbers, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), and role.
  • Entity information: company/organization name and related registration details submitted when you register or manage an entity on the platform.
  • Communication preferences: whether you have opted in to email and/or SMS text notifications.
  • Platform activity: data products you publish, subscribe to, or download; billing and usage records; login and security events (including two-factor authentication status).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and similar diagnostic information collected automatically for security and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and administer your account and your entity's access to the platform.
  • To process, host, and facilitate the exchange of data products between publishers and subscribers on the platform.
  • To send transactional and account notifications — such as new data availability, billing notices, and security alerts — by email and/or SMS, based on the preferences you set in your profile.
  • To verify your identity, secure your account (including two-factor authentication), and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To calculate billing and usage, and to communicate with entity administrators about invoices and account status.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

3. How We Share Information

As a data brokerage platform, the core function of the Service is to enable entities to publish and subscribe to data products. We share information as follows:

  • Data products you publish: shared with subscribing entities strictly as configured by your entity's publishing settings and any applicable data product agreement.
  • Account/profile information: never sold. Shared only with your own entity's administrators, platform staff for support and compliance purposes, and service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g. email delivery, SMS delivery via Twilio, hosting/database providers), under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Service, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same privacy commitments described here.

We do not sell your personal contact information (name, email, phone number) to third parties, and we do not share SMS opt-in consent or mobile phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and entity information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 6 below, subject to records we are required to retain by law or active contractual obligation.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including password hashing, optional two-factor authentication, and encrypted transport (HTTPS), to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices & Rights

  • Notification preferences: manage email and SMS notification opt-in/opt-out at any time from your Profile page.
  • SMS opt-out: reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving SMS messages at any time (see Section 12).

5. Fees & Billing

Certain data products and platform features may be subject to fees as described in your Entity's billing arrangement or the relevant data product listing. Fees are calculated and invoiced as described in your account dashboard. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.
